Enfocus releases update 7 for Switch 08

Enfocus releases Switch 08 update 7, the latest version of its Switch product line. The Switch family of products, which includes LightSwitch, FullSwitch and PowerSwitch, lets users automate repetitive tasks, helping them standardize their work and reduce errors. This new update also brings new partners to the Crossroads community. Crossroads is a community built around the Enfocus Switch automation solutions. Crossroads enables communication between Enfocus Switch users and vendors. “We aim to let the Crossroads community grow by adding new configurators to Switch and by offering full possibilities and solutions to our customers. Thanks to the success of Switch, more and more companies see the advantages of building a configurator for Enfocus Switch,” comments David van Driessche, Marketing Director of Marketing.

FLO Suite from Digital Media Partners

Digital Media Partners develops brand-management and web-to-print software. Their FLO Suite adds a customizable front-end interface to the workflow, vastly expanding the capabilities of Switch. By combining the DMP FLO Suite and Switch you can now easily:

Set-up print and Advertisement submission portals, to automate the reception and quality check of files through a website.
Create advanced image and asset management workflows, including automatic image optimization.
Automate the creation and publication of Flash booklets.
Set-up dynamic preflighting of files based on job information.

ICS Inc. provides color accurate monitor proofing solutions to the graphic arts industry. basICColor gHOST

basICColor GmbH was founded by Karl Koch in 2008 as the successor of Color Solutions Software which since 1996 creates and distributes color management software. basICColor gHOST is a color server for image data and PDF, automated workflow, use of ICC profiles and/or ICC Device/Links. For packaging and HiFi-printing basICColor gHOST also allows automated color conversion of PDF- and TIFF-files with up to 16 colors. Existing customers can use basICColor gHOST in a complete workflow environment thanks to the integration with Switch. Update 7 also supports updates of existing configurators:
